Who we are
Retire Ready is provided by Pro-Vision Lifestyles Ltd, UK registered company number 11850634, registered office 1 High Street, Thatcham, Berkshire, RG19 3JG. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can contact us at info@pro-visionlifestyles.com.
What we collect
When you sign up: your first name, email address, the option you chose to describe your stage of life, whether you ticked the optional box to hear from an adviser, the date and time of your consent, and the page you signed up from.
When you send an adviser enquiry: your name, email address, optional phone number, optional message, and your results summary if you choose to include it.
Your assessment answers and scores are stored only in your own web browser, on your device. They are not sent to us unless you send an enquiry and choose to include your results summary.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
We use your name and email to give you access to the assessment. If you ask to be connected to an authorised adviser, or tick the optional box, we use your details to contact you about that and, with your consent, pass them to an authorised financial adviser. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use these providers to run the service, and they handle your data only on our instructions:
- Formspree, which processes the sign-up and enquiry forms and passes them to us by email.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and may record technical information such as your IP address when you visit.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces. Your IP address is shared with Google when a page loads.
- Our email provider, where enquiries are received and stored.
If you ask to be connected to an authorised adviser, we may pass your enquiry to an authorised financial adviser firm. They will tell you who they are when they contact you, and they will be responsible for how they use your details and for any advice they give.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where your data is transferred abroad, we rely on the safeguards that those providers have in place.
How long we keep it
We keep sign-up details and enquiry details for 12 months from the date you provided them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. If you go on to become a client of an adviser, that adviser will keep records under their own regulatory obligations and will explain this to you.
Your rights
You can ask us to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or give it to you in a portable format. To do any of this, or to withdraw your consent, email info@pro-visionlifestyles.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies and storage
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. We use your browser's local storage to remember that you have signed up and to save your answers on your device. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Children
Retire Ready is intended for adults. It is not aimed at anyone under 18.
